The Beautiful Peacock and The Finches’ Song

Far away in a lush forest, there was a beautiful peacock that was always proud of herself. She always compared her beauty with others. She spread her shiny tail to show how beautiful she was and wished praises from other animals in the forest.

One day, a finches was practicing her new song. The bird sang the song beautifully and everyone was hipnotized. They came closer and sat around the tree where the finches was. Knowing that everyone liked her song, the finches sang many songs for them. The animals enjoyed it so much.

The peacock saw it from a distance. She disliked that view. A wise owl approached her and said, “Everyone has her beauty. Don’t get annoyed with others’ speciality. You have your own and they have theirs.”

The peacock didn’t give her comment. She tried to accept and understand the owl’s opinion. The peacock secretly loved the beautiful voice. After listening to a beautiful song, she left them all.

Moral of the story: We must appreciate other’s skill and ability.
