The Rabbit and the Hole

 

Ruby was a bunny. She lived in a hole, deep in the ground. Actually, she was curious about everything outside her hole, but she was too afraid to face new things. She went outside and saw other bunnies were playing happily, but she remembered what her mother said, “Don’t play outside when I’m not at home. It might be dangerous out here.” Finally, she was back to the hole in fear.

One day, Ruby wanted to play outside. She went outside her house with her friends and played together, but she forgot about what did her mother say to her. She played until the sun went down. She noticed that her friends already went home and left her alone. She just remembered that she was not allowed to play outside when her mother was not home. She tried to run home immediately. Unfortunately, she lost her way to her home because it was already dark.

She cried for help but nobody was there. After a while, one of her friends found her. Then, she went home, accompanied by her friend. She regretted that she did not listen to her mother’s advice. She cried and hugged her mother. She promised her that she would never do it again.
