A Lazy Ant

A lazy ant had just waken up from his nicest dream. It was very noisy outside, so he got up lazily. He peeked from his curtain and saw many ants that were busy to carry something. Apparently, they brought bread’s crumbs. The lazy ant closed the curtain and he was back to his bed. He laid down for some times.

Suddenly, he was very hungry, but he had no food at all. He got up slowly. He got out from his house. There was no one there. His friends were busy with the crumbs and they were keeping them in a big storage room. He went there and asked a small number of crumbs but they looked very angry to him. One of them said, “If you’re hungry, find food by yourself! We have worked since early morning, but you’re here to ask our food. No way!” The lazy ant left them. He had to find his own food that day.

He tried to find it here and there and finally he found a piece of rice. He was grateful and he ate it in a hurry. The lazy ant began to understand that if he was lazy, he wouldn't get any results. Afterwards, he tried to find some food for the storage because he wanted to help his friends in need. Unfortunately, he was drooling over the food that he brought and he ate them little by little on his way home. He was very happy because he could eat a lot, but he forgot the main reason why he collected them in the first place.
