That girl is about 10 years old. She always brings a basket that is full of snacks. She helps her mother to sell those snacks at school’s canteen. Her mother sells the snacks door-to-door, and if her snacks are not sold out that day, she will sell them in front of mini markets. Her father passed away and her mother only sells the snacks to meet their daily needs, but they do not give up with the condition.
Her name is Seruni. Every day, she helps her mother happily to bring the products to her school’s canteen. Seruni doesn’t care about cheap talking among her friends. She knows that her mother should work hard for her and their daily needs.
One day, she sold few snacks, so she was very sad. Seruni walked spiritlessly. Tito, one of her classmates, saw her. He approached her and asked, “Why are you sad?” Seruni turned to him. “I’m failed today. I sold only 5 packs of snacks,” she said. Tito looked over the basket and saw about 15 packs of snacks in it. He looked at Seruni and asked, “If you sell all of them, how much are they?” Seruni counted, “Forty five thousands rupiah.” Tito gave her fifty thousands rupiah. Seruni was confused, “What for?” Tito smiled. “I buy all your snacks to make you happy. Don’t cry anymore.” Seruni looked at him happily and packed all snacks for him in a hurry. She thanked him very much. Tito replied it with smile.
In the following day, Tito came to Seruni who had been out from the school’s canteen. He cheerfully said, “Seruni, I will buy 20 packs of snacks every day.” Seruni was confused, “Why?” Tito smiled and said, “My neighbour will sell them in her shop. She said that your snacks taste good. So, can you tell your mother to prepare about 20 packs tomorrow?” Seruni was excited and grateful to her very kind friend. That day, Seruni was very happy.
