Poor Surti

Surti is a poor girl. She has a mother and no father. Her father passed away last year, so her mother should earn money for their needs.

One day, Surti said to her mother that she wanted to sell her mother’s snacks at school. Her mother was very happy with the idea. On that day, the mother brought her some traditional snacks. Surti sold them to her friends.

Unfortunately, the canteen keeper didn’t like it. She thought that Surti would ruin her business. When Surti passed the canteen with the snacks, the canteen keeper called her. She was angry to Surti. Suddenly, the canteen keeper threw all the snacks left. Surti was surprised and crying. Some friends helped her to collect them from the floor and they asked Surti to get in the class.

Her best friend, Martha, told the teacher about it. The teacher was shocked, then he told the headmaster. Soon, the headmaster called the canteen keeper and Surti to her office. The headmaster asked them one-by-one. She urged the canteen keeper to beg apology to Surti and pay for her snacks. The canteen keeper also promised not to do it again. Then, the headmaster asked Surti to leave her products in the canteen, so it won’t ruin the canteen’s business.

Moral value: It’s not good to ruin other’s business, but we should have good communication to get the best solution
