Lina had a little blue backpack that she loved very much. Every day, she walked to school with a big smile on her face. One morning, she saw a new girl standing alone near the school gate. The girl looked shy and held her books tightly. Lina felt a warm feeling in her heart and decided to say hello.
“Hi, my name is Lina! Do you want to walk with me?” she asked. The new girl, Maya, looked surprised but happy. “Yes, thank you,” she said softly. They walked together, talking about their favorite games and snacks. Lina learned that Maya was nervous because she didn’t know anyone in the new school.
At the break time, Lina introduced Maya to her friends. They played ball, laughed, and shared their lunch. Maya felt safe and welcomed. At the end of the day, she said, “Thank you, Lina. You made my first day special.” Lina smiled and answered, “Friends always take care of each other.” From that day on, Lina, Maya, and their friends promised to always show kindness and never leave anyone alone.
