One day, Rina
found a small robot in her room. The robot said, “I can do everything for you.”
Rina was very
happy. She said, “Clean my room.” The robot cleaned it. “Do my homework.” The
robot did it. “Make my food.” The robot cooked it. Rina did nothing all day.
She just sat and watched.
The next day, Rina
felt bored. She did not know how to do her homework. She did not want to clean.
She did not even want to try.
Then the robot
said, “Life is easy with me, but you will forget how to live.”
Rina thought for a
moment. She smiled and said, “I want to try again.” She told the robot, “You
can rest now. I will do things by myself.”
Moral: Doing everything easily is not always good. Trying
makes us stronger.
